The Neighbors program was created to introduce area small businesses to our own Omni Business members, thus providing a mutually beneficial relationship.  Omni has direct access to over 100 eastside business professionals as part of our Business Membership program.  All of these established business people live, eat, and shop within a few miles of our campus.

Our Neighbors program connects our Members to your neighborhood business.

There is no cost to join this program.  There is no contract or agreement.  It is a simple partnership; in return for sending our Members your way, your business provides them with a modest discount that would not otherwise be offered to them.

Omni has incubated and supported local small businesses for over 35 years.  In today’s challenging times it’s even more important than ever that we work together as a community. We feel this program can be a small part of that healing process.

Neighbor’s FAQ

What IS Omni Business Center’s (OBC) NEIGHBORS program all about?
NEIGHBORS is a simple program OBC has created to benefit our exclusive group of office tenants and business members; and connect them with other small businesses within this local area. It is the hope that this will introduce a new and desirable group of potential customers into a store or shop that they would not normally think of patronizing.

All OBC members are issued a membership card (w/ an expiration date imprinted) which brings with it certain privileges and benefits, and is used for identification purposes in this program.

In exchange for small businesses offering a modest discount or offer exclusive to OBC members, OBC will at no cost promote your business on our website and in our weekly newsletter and encourage our members to patronize your business.

What type of business members make up Omni Business Center membership?
Omni Business Center (“OBC”) is a three-building eastside office campus comprised of successful small business owners and professionals.  OBC has direct access to over a hundred upscale tenants and business members; who all live, eat, and shop within a few miles of our eastside campus.
How will our Small Business Neighbors know it’s an OBC member in good standing when they show up at their business?
All OBC members will have a membership card with our logo that will attest to their good standing as a current member.
How much will it cost for Neighbors to be in this program?
Nothing.  The discount that you offer will be the only “cost” that you will need to provide in order to attract the attention of this exclusive group.
Can businesses drop out of the program at any time?
Absolutely.  There is no contract or agreement.  This is a simple program intended to be beneficial to both our members and to the surrounding small businesses in our area, our “neighbors”.  We’re all on the same team in the effort to prosper and improve our community, especially during these challenging times.
Are their quality standards involved for participating neighborhood businesses?
Absolutely!  OBC  feels that a small business in this community, must have high standards in order to be successful.  OBC reserves the right to part ways with any small business that does not provide a quality product or professional service to their customers.
Can the special offer be changed at any time?
No problem.  Just give us a courtesy update if you do.
What type of discounts should I consider offering?
Our Neighbors offer anywhere from a free item with a purchase to a percentage discount on certain transactions.  You will know the fairest and most desirable offers, and the Members will either be enticed by it or not.
Can I advertise a weekly special in addition to my standing special offer?
You sure can and it’s FREE.  Get us your special or ad by Friday and we’ll put it in our weekly Newsletter that comes out every Monday morning.  Please limit the size of any ads to 2”X 4”.
Do Omni members offer discounts to participating Small Business Neighbors?
Not necessarily.  But there is always benefit in local businesses supporting each other.  OBC does offer our Neighbors a 15% off discount off any of our meeting or social spaces.
May Neighbors leave marketing materials onsite at OBC?
Nope, sorry.  BUT, we will print your coupon or ad for free in our weekly newsletter that gets printed and electronically sent to all of our members.
