The emphasis on creating a co-working space has helped push the Omni Business Center to capacity.

Shared services, such as conference rooms, a receptionist, voice and data services, provide office services without a bunch of added costs.

Buff Farrow, president and co-owner of the office park, says the adaptations help meet the needs of people who are moving away from traditional office settings.

“We’re starting to see the dynamic take off,” he says.

It’s part of the ongoing challenge keeping up with the changing business environment, Farrow says.

Roughly $250,000 has been invested over the past two years to remodel and update common areas in the building. That investment also resulted in the creation of the Lounge within the building. The multi-functional communal space is used for business and social events.

Farrow says that space created a new revenue stream for Omni.

He says the goal for the entire building is to create a professional, yet relaxed environment for businesses.

Farrow says the 25,000-square-foot building is fully leased.

That includes the recent addition of Frank Santo’s Santo Law Office.

Farrow says Santo fits with the Omni model as a small business owner looking for flexibility with work spaces and lower overhead.

“Frank is just the type of tenant we’re trying to attract,” Farrow says.
